Charles Hankins to Lead Beulah Office

Interstate Engineering is pleased to announce the promotion of Charlie Hankins, PE, to Beulah Office Manager. The Board of Directors voted May 18 to promote Hankins to the Management Role.

“I’m excited for Charlie to step into the role of Beulah Office Manager,” said Eric Urness, Central Regional Vice President. “He has been a great addition to Interstate Engineering since coming aboard and I look forward to his continued growth within our firm. This move will certainly emphasize our commitment to our clients in the Beulah area as well as reinforce the company’s belief in Charlie as a leader and engineer.”

“I am very appreciative of this opportunity that Interstate Engineering has entrusted to me,” said Charlie. “I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities that await our Beulah office as we continue to foster our current client relationships and actively engage ourselves with new and prospective clients. It has been an honor working with a company that implements and shares such a great culture and supportive ideals; to be given this opportunity is nothing short of exciting. Having grown up in a small rural community similar to Beulah, it is intuitive to understand the core values and ‘close-knit’ nature shared among its citizens. This, in conjunction with my experiences with Interstate Engineering, has proven to be a tremendously rewarding endeavor. Being afforded the opportunity to provide a leadership role within the firm while being located in a community I confidently stand behind is something I very greatly look forward to continuing to foster.”

Charlie joined Interstate Engineering in 2017. Before moving to Beulah, Charlie worked for national and international firms, focusing on airports, site design, telecommunications, and water engineering. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of North Dakota and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
