Jason Boucher Expands GIS Expertise
Jason Boucher is joining the Interstate Engineering team as a GIS Specialist. With a strong background in GIS services, Boucher work to enhance how clients are seeing and using maps.
Jason has focused his career on land. As an experienced drafter, Jason was drawn to the varied offerings of ArcGIS. He focused on learning and using the ever-evolving tool to benefit clients. With an education from Montana State University and the South Dakota School of Mines, he has continued to stay on the forward edge of GIS and how the collected data can be used. As client needs shift from reactive to proactive asset management, enhanced GIS capabilities provide a more efficient venue to inventory, manage, and operate infrastructure.
Based in Sheridan, Wyoming, Jason’s vibrant personality and understanding of GIS becoming a standard part of design and engineering will bring enhanced services to clients. It will also give the entire team an additional in-house resource.
In addition to his work with GIS, Jason will be using his CAD drafting experience to assist various projects throughout the company. He will work closely with Brent Moore in the planning sector of Interstate Engineering.
