Tennis Court Complex

Interstate Engineering was selected by the Wahpeton, North Dakota Public Schools to perform design and construction engineering for a Tennis Court Complex in Wahpeton. The project consisted of the construction of a new six-court complex consisting of a post tensioned concrete at the Wahpeton High School.

The project involved the installation of drain tile installed below a geotextile fabric as well as three feet of granular backfill to help keep the ground water out of the site. A five-inch thick layer of post tensioned concrete was installed incorporating the posts for the chain link fencing and the posts for the tennis nets. The court surfacing was a US Open blue/ green color combination.
